Hair Tutorial - Natural Curls

A few of my friends would always ask how I do my hair as I always have a thing for making my hair look very natural and soft. I recently was given some products from V05 to play around with and after testing them all out I created this look with them called natural curls. If you just check out my video above you can see how I go to create the look, it really is simple and takes me around 5-10 minutes to do! What I love about the natural look is that it is never has to be perfect which is good for me as I can be a bit of a perfectionist.

All of the products I have used are in the description bar in the video, I would really appreciate if you subscribe and comment etc and also if you're interested in seeing more hair tutorials in the future!

Free Shoes!

These shoes have been sitting in my wardrobe far too long and they need to get some use! They are a size 6/7 and have never ever been worn! They are around 12cm in height with a 3cm platform. I got them ages ago from Nelly, and they're still in their original packaging. Unfortunately they don't fit me despite being size 7 they are rather narrow and hard to get your foot into. I have tried to sell them but nobody has given me an offer therefore I am GIVING THEM AWAY! Yes for free, there's not much you get for nothing these days but I'm happy to give these shoes some life. If you do live far in that we can't meet up you will have to pay for postage and that's it :)

F&F Catwalk Event

(Cheeky shot of Alexandra Burke)

This is my first ever catwalk event at Sommerset House and it couldn't have been better. I was kindly invited to the F&F AW13 range and I completely fell in love with some pieces, even the menswear! I decided to take a few pictures and mainly record it as the atmosphere was amazing, the models were pumping down the catwalk while their hair which I couldn't take my eyes of had a mind of its own. I know we was there to see the clothing but the hair was literally amazing, so big and bouncy I would love to have my hair like that for a day. The catwalk was short and sweet and one of my favourite aspects were the texture and prints for me, I can't wait til the collection officially comes out as I need to snap pretty much all of their coats.

Overall I had an amazing evening, it was so chilled and glamorous while we also got to gaze at a few celebs including a member or too from JLS. What were your favourite pieces from the collection?

New Look AW13 Press Day

I can confidently say that New Look is one of my favourite retailers ever. Not only do they pull off an amazing event with amazing staff but their clothing is incredible quality, incredible fit at incredible prices. I know I sound like an advert but I am seriously impressed with their AW13 range, it is so on trend yet so easy to pull off, which is another thing I love about New Look. Seeing as their press days are always so massive I have decided to vlog them as I feel you guys can get a look at everything that way, so check out the video above that I've put together. I must say that this time round I am in love with their shoes, especially the boots they are so simple with cut outs yet sophisticated, I love it! I'm going to keep this post short and sweet but I'd love to know your favourite pieces from watching my video above!

As you can see I'm a lover of New Looks AW13 range, what do you think of their new range?

Dune AW13 Press Day

I was kindly invited to the Dune AW13 press day the other week and went with the amazing Clare who I pretty much go to all my events with now! I think I will set the mood off by saying that the press day was awesome, I'm not one for being a shoe addict but there wasn't a single pair of shoes I didn't like. They got the trends spot on and I loved the rangle of colours and style, I might even venture out and wear some colour! I also love the detailing in a lot of the shoes, very simple but eye catching. One of my favourite are 6, I think I even prefer it in white. I love the monochrome trend, it is so me and these shoes in white would be perfect as all my dresses are black so team it with some white shoes and tada!

The press day has really made me want to explore different shoes and be a bit more daring, I can't wait to see the range online as there are plenty of shoes I have my eye on. I also have to say that the way they set up their press day was incredible, it was so beautiful and decorative that it really made the shoes stand out and give off a really autumn winter vibe. Despite being female I fell deeply in love with the mens shoes and bags, the top 3 pictures are from that range. I just loved the boots and all the satchels, who knows I may end up bagging myself a bag, see what I did there ey!

Overall I'm really impressed with their press day, what shoes are your favourite?

Dulux Ultra White Launch

So recently Dulux has launched their Ultra White paint and kindly invited me to their event to launch their paint. There were a variety of different rooms in the house to show how you can decorate and differentiate the rooms, we were also treated to some lovely nibbles and very strong white russians. I don't know about you but white paint screams to me classy, simple and elegant. Maybe it's something once you get older but I am dying to decorate my room all white, including furniture. I also have really gotten into home decor so looking around the rooms really made me envy the decor and detail and wishing to move in. As you can see from the picture above a lot of detail has gone in but the rooms look effortless and classic.

Ultra White includes a combination of the toughest and brightest formulations leaving you with a clean white colour creating a spacious feeling. It also contains the 'Diamond Tough' formula which is washable and up to 20 times tougher. The paint contains 'LumiTec which is light reflective particles which refelct up to twice as much light back into a room making your walls look lighter and more spacious. Rebecca Thompson, Dulux Colour and Design Manager said: "With the introduction of Ultra White, this frequently used but often unappreciated colour really comes into its own".

A mini sample was included in the goody bag so I will let you know how it goes as there is one of two patches I want to repaint in my room, maybe it will create a big difference, who knows!

Monsoon AW13

So how amazing does Monsoon's AW13 Collection look?! I adore the detailing and embellishment and also all the lovely chunky knits, I can't wait for Autumn/Winter, it's my favourite season for layering and Monsoon have got me excited more than ever. I also love the tartan prints that are very on trend at the moment. If you want to check out their AW13 range check out the video above giving you all the backstage looks and how they even set up their press day, looks amazing. I also loved how they've interviewed some people on their opinions on the range and they are all positive feedback. I completely agree with Shelly Vella the Fashion and Style director at Cosmopolitan when she said she loves how the press day was laid out, the clothes do the talking and they really do!

I will be honest and say Monsoon are my go to store if I were to go shopping however checking out their AW13 press day above it's made me realise I need to go in their more often. After they collaborated with Accessorize not too long ago I always see the brand name around but never go in however I know I will definately be picking up a few items for my AW13. What do you guys think of the collection?

Elemis Product Review

I was kindly sent these products out from Elemis to review, I had always heard of the brand but had never really tried any of their products and I am really impressed, so much that I feel the word should be spread more to teenagers. These products are all from the fresh skin range aimed at teens to twenties. I also think the pricing is affordable with the moisturiser being the most expensive at £20, exfoliator at £12 and lip balm at £8. For the quality of the product I am definitely impressed by the price and the results as a whole. The packaging is minimal, simple and clean, I also love the pop of bright purple to give the product a refreshing feel. I love the pump of the moisturiser as that way you can really get all of the product out.

Softly Softly Daily Moisturiser
I will start off with the moisturiser, they are usually something I like to experiment with until I find one I really like and will keep using, in this case it is Elemis. The moisturiser is really light and fresh and leaves no residue on the skin which I love as I really dislike when moisturisers have a greasy feel. It has a variety of ingredients such as seaweed extract, rosehip seed oil and almond oil to really give you that hydration boost. I would use this after cleansing my face and act as if I was giving myself a mini face massage by spreading the moisturiser evenly but sparingly at the same time. I love the scent of the moisturiser and the calming sensation of it. I have noticed a difference in my skin texture, it is much more softer now and just the overall texture has improved, especially on my cheeks.

Skin Glow Exfoliating Face Wash
Moving onto the face wash, I love a good facial exfoliator as it really improves the texture of my skin instantly and makes me feel refreshed. Having it within a face wash cuts down the time I spend on my skincare routine and the cost which is why I love this product even more. This product contains cherry powder and jojoba beads to gently polish and refine the texture of your skin and includes a variety of other ingredients to leave your skin refreshed, brighter and softer. I apply this to my skin before cleansing by squirting a 2 pence sized amount into my hands and rubbing it into my skin in a fast circular motion, I would use this maybe 3 times a week and another cleanser during the week as too much exfoliation can be bad for your skin. Overall I'm really impressed with this product and will definately be purchasing it as it's only £12!

Quenching Lip Balm
Lastly, the lip balm. I'm not much of a lipbalm girl, I may carry a vaseline in my bag and that's it. It has a slight scent of peppermint which I'm not a huge fan of but apart from that personal preference it really does what it says. I have noticed my lips so much more conditioned and softer and now I carry it in my bag as a nessecity, who knew a product could addict you! It's GREAT for the summer when the sun is out and you need a bit of a boost on your lips as the sun can dry them out, it's so conditioning and smooth to apply. For £8 you can't go wrong for a keepsake lipbalm in the summer, even on holiday this product would be perfect, I know I will be taking it to Egypt with me!

Overall, I am really happy with these products and I am officially Elemis' biggest fan. Their product range 'fresh skin' is suited perfect for me and at a reasonable price I definately recommend giving them a go as they're aren't too expensive and worth effectively.

OOTD - The Other Side

Dress - Simplybe*
Belt - Charity Shop
Watch - Michael Kors

Another outfit post?! Yes that's right! I love reading other bloggers outfit posts and looking at how they put outfits together so it's something I definately want to get into more I just sometimes find it takes ages to take the photos myself, edit them and put them together! However, this dress was also sent to me by Simplybe and I couldn't wait to photograph it. I kept it simple for a nice summers day, maybe a walk in the park with either brown boots of sandals. The dress style wise is so me, I love a good tea dress with a collar, the sleeves are such a comfortable length and it nips me in at the waist too. The print is a bit daring for me, I would usually be seen in dark colours but I think this is such a cute poppy print. Is it weird to say it goes with my hair well? Either way it is actually really cute and I want a BBQ or garden party to come up just so I can rock this beauty.

OOTD - Disclosure

Cardigan - H&M
Dress - Simplybe*
Belt - Charity Shop
Watch - Michael Kors

I have officially booked my holiday to Egypt in August and I'm already on the lookout for some lovely Summer clothes. When I spotted this dress on Simplybe I knew I had to get it, I had seen it everywhere and this one caught my eye because of the lovely cut out at the back which is perfect as it doesn't show any bra straps, good thinking Simplybe! I also love how the stripes are very flattering, just this dress is perfect for an evening in the night without the cardigan. Pair either some black flatforms or sandals and a cute little clutch and you['re done! The only thing I can fault about this dress is that where it does up by the neck it is really baggy? Can I say baggy? But yeah, I will probably just have to sew it up tighter so that it's more comfortable.

I love it teamed with the cardigan, I don't do neon but this is perfect as it just adds a bit of colour. I brought this in America if you saw in my haul and I actually really love the colour of it, it may have even brought me onto team neon! I've got a perfect necklace this colour that would go lovely but I feel that would be more of an evening thing. The belt sinches me in at the waist which is really flattering and just gives the look a bit of edge.

Would you guys like to see more outfit posts?
