These two brands are probably my favourite simply because I loved every single piece of clothing at their press event! They are fairly similar brands with Poppy Lux focused more on the younger teenagers with a slightly lower pricing range than Sugarhill Boutique. I really loved the detailing and the prints, the prints of sugarhill boutique were my favourite as they were so unique. I took some close ups above where you can see how pretty the prints were. Unfortunately the lighting wasn't the greatest at the venue and the photographs don't do any of the clothing justice but I will definately be purchasing some of the range shortly so I will feature them in outfit posts for you guys to see how beautiful the clothing is.
My favourite was a black and white checked crop and skirt, they would look so cute together! I really love the vibe of both brands, they so me and I can't wait for their collection to be in stores. If you're looking for some unique pieces that focuses on detailing and unique prints then these are the brands for you this christmas period. Personally, I loved Sugarhill Boutique that little bit more as I fall in love with a good old print and I love chiffon tea dresses which they seemed to do a lot of, however they have focused a little bit more on other pieces of clothing and the metallic shorts that you can see above are to die for.

VO5 - Hot Oil*
I have finally achieved the length of hair I have wanted for years but the problem I have it maintaining it in a good condition. I still go for trims but I find the longer it gets the duller it looks so I'm always on the look out for mini treatments that you can do and achieve at home. VO5 kindly gave me these hot oils to try and I can say that I'm strongly impressed. In each pack you get 4 individual tubes, you are told to use 1 a week or more if there is a special event you want your hair glowing for. At £4.29 they are a bargain as not only do you get the results but they will last for a month at least. I have been using them once a week religiously and I have noticed such an improvment, my hair is so soft and shiny and it doesn't take long at all!
I use these while in the shower, I will run a sink of hot water and leave it to soak in there while I put on a face mask, once I'm ready to jump in the shower I will rip off the top of the bottle and apply all over my hair massaging it in. I will then rinse it off thoroughly and then shampoo and condition as normal. It is so simple and easy to do, it barely takes any time at all plus it's really therapeutic.
If you're looking for easy treatments that are affordable and can be done at home these are the products for you, you can get them in boots and probably superdrug. Definately something to give your hair a boost this Summer!

Not long ago was I invited to the Simple event to look at some of their new products. Simple is probably the first ever brand I used for when it came to caring after my skin and I felt like I was 13 again when I went to see the products in person. I have always loved Simple so I was really excited to see what they had came up with. The first thing I noticed about the products were the packaging, they seem a lot more sleeker and fresher which I think looks amazing. The event was so much fun with amazing women on hand to talk about lifestyle factors and skin health to get your skin glowing.
Their new range is called Simple Kind To Skin+ which has a very sophisticated feel to it. This new range has added skin benefits such as brightening and perfecting the skin naturally. The range will be available from September and the products are filled with goodness which is also gentle so it's suitable for every skin type. The range includes the BB Balm, Illuminating Radiance Cream, Protecting Moisture Cream SPF30, Sun-kissed Moisture Cream, Radiance Brightening Wipes, Eye Make-Up Remover Pads and Moisture Boost Hydro Mist.
Personally, I can't wait to try the radiance cream and the sun-kissed moisture cream, I think it will be perfect once I'm back from holiday to keep up my sad excuse of a tan. Which ones do you want to get your hands on?

Right Hand L-R - Primark, Primark, ASOS, River Island, Primark.
I must admit these are not all my rings, just my favourite rings at the moment, also I must state I don't wear these all at once either! I really love quirky jewellery and my favourite at the moment is above the knuckle rings like the crossover one from River Island, can you believe I got two of these for £2?! I wanted to mix it up a little on my blog and decided to do a ring post, I always love looking at how people put rings together as I can be a bit of a perfectionist and only lik certain ones together. I also love discovering rings and places to buy them! Being a student I don't like to fork out a lot of money on jewellery, some of my favourite rings are £2 from Primark, I'm a bargain hunter and I thought I would share my bargain rings with you.
Which are your favourite?

If there's one event I always love it's New Look. I was invited not too along ago down to their press day to look at their Christmas Collection. There were a selection of womens, mens and home wear, I was really impressed by the home wear pieces as I didn't know New Look to ever do things like that. I love the penguin slippers as you can see in the top pictures. Another thing I loved was their cheesy christmas jumpers, we were lucky enough to get one of them in the goody bag so watch out at christmas as I will be living in it!
I also got my nails done at the event in this beautiful lime green, I'm really feeling bright colours for my nails at the moment plus the glitter looked really cute. The colour is from their Kelly Brook collection, I can't wait to get my hands on it!
For me, I loved the collection, it was all about the textures and detailing which is something I love about christmas. The little embellishments on key pieces in the collection really made them stand out, I tried to get a few close ups of them as you can see in my pictures. I also noticed that the christmas dresses are to die for, if you are looking for a christmas dress definately check out new look nearer the time as they have an amazing range at such an affordable price!
Are you excited for Christmas as much as I am?

The other day I went along to the Tresemme event and literally had so much fun. It was inside Trafalgar Hotel on top of the roof which was breath taking, I could see all of London however I wish there was a bit of sunshine. The event was all about their new product called Oil Elixir which I will review fully in a few weeks. Now I've tried a few products like this such as Moroccan Oil and a product from VO5 and I'm always keen on finding new products like this that's on the market. What I like about this oil is that you can apply it to either wet or dry hair to give it an extra boost. When getting my hair done I noticed how light weight it was and easy to apply, also how little amount of product you need! So far from that experience I'm excited to give it a go myself as Moroccan Oil isn't the cheapest product.
Tresemme's slogan is professional, affordable which is the vibe I got from this product. It has Macadamia Oil and Babassu Oil for their all hair types product, their colour treated hair product includes Grapeseed Oil. You can use this product in so many different ways such as a pre-wash nourishing treatment, pre-styling, conditioning treatment or as a finishing touch. Depending on which way you use it you can use up to 3-4 pumps.
I'm a big fan of dry oils and cannot wait to test this out!
