I think we have all been there with our girlfriends on a Friday night trying to make the most intense cocktails you have ever seen to it ending up like slush in a cup. Especially with all of the fiddly ingredients, it can start to add up in price and that 'cheap Friday night in' didn't end up so cheap. You may as well have gone out for 2 for 1 cocktails at your local bar! Well I recently discovered Echo Falls new Feeling Fruity range and I'm serious loving them. Alone as wine they are delicious enough but they are fantastic for making some Summer cocktails with. Especially as they are £5.49 a bottle!
My two favourite are the White peach & Mango and Raspberry & Cassius! Usually I don't drink red but this was just so delicious! While they are fruity and light, they are still pretty lethal so make sure you drink responsibly. The two cocktail recipes I'm loving are below with all ingredients!
70ml Echo Falls Fruit Fusion White Peach & Mango
1 slice of lemon
1 slice of lime
1 slice of grapefruit
1 slice of orange
10ml elderflower cordial
5ml pomegranate syrup
Pomegranate seeds and a mint spring to garnish
Slice the citrus fruits into wedges and muddle in a hi-ball glass, add the Fruit Fusions White Peach & Mango, elderflower cordial and crushed ice then stir. Drizzle with pomegranate syrup. Garnish with pomegranate seeds and a mint spring.
Berry Fabulous Falls
50ml Echo Falls Fruit Fusion Raspberry & Cassis
25ml of cranberry juice
1 tsp of blueberry jam
10ml of lemon juice
5ml cinnamon syrup
Splash of tonic water
Edible flower to garnish
Stir all ingredients together in a cocktail shaker and add ice. Shake for 1 minute and strain into a jam jar filled with ice. Add a splash of tonic and garnish with an edible flower to serve.
