Vichy Dermablend Setting Powder

Vichy Dermablend - Setting Powder* RRP £17.00

The other day I headed down to the Vichy Dermablend to see their new products and this setting powder stole my heart from the moment I set eyes on it. So firstly let's talk about what Dermablend is. For the past 30 years Dermablend has been helping women with expert high coverage foundation to cover both minor and severe skin concerns such as acne. With its blendable textures, high pigmentation and soft finishing the range is adored by makeup artists. The packaging is black lacquered cases which is glamorous and sleek.

So, this setting powder strengthens and extends the hold of coverage products. It has a rub, sweat and water resistant finish so that your makeup will stay in place for up to 16 hours. Perfect if you're constantly on the run like me! The powder is transparent and has a super fine texture so that it provides a lovely matte and natural looking finish but doesn't affect the foundations shade. When applying the powder you would use the powder puff or a brush, before removing any extra powder on the face you should wait 2 minutes to ensure it sets.

I love a good transparent powder at the moment as I always feel applying normal powder moves my foundation and really only keeps my skin matte for a while. I currently use an Elf one however I will soon convert to this as so far it has worked wonders for my skin and does what it says!

Do you use a setting powder?

I don't use a setting powder, I only use a Vichy BB creme so I put a bit of loose powder over the top but this product sounds awesome! I love Vichy products. ♥

Vichy products are amazing, I haven't tried the BB cream though! Ever since I've used setting powders I've converted, you should give it a try! x
