Stippling Brush and Setting Brush - Cocktail Cosmetics
After buying the MAC Foundation Brush a few years ago I promised myself that I would never use a brush again to put on my foundation. I just found that when applying the foundation with my fingers it blended in much better and naturally. However, due to my experimental side I couldn't help myself and try the Real Techniques Stippling Brush and Setting Brush. Real Techniques brushes are all cruelty free and designed by Samantha Chapman, a beauty blogger and professional make up artist!
Starting with the stippling brush, the brush I was most excited about! This brush is different from your average foundation brush, it has a flat top creating a pixel perfect result. You can use this brush with about any type of make up and what I love is that it can stand up due to it's flat bottom! What I like about this brush is instead of it actually taking the majority of the foundation it smooths the foundation into your skin slowing blending it to give an airbrush effect. I use this when applying my liquid foundation and I much prefer the results compared to the MAC Foundation Brush, it blends in so well and gives me a great coverage while looking like I have minimal foundation on! I have used this brush all the time when putting on my make up and couldn't imagine going back to applying it with my hands!
The Setting Brush helps complete the look. When it first arrived I was a bit worried with how small it is as I normally use quite a big brush when applying the powder on top of my face so instead I used this brush to set powder on top of the concealer as well us underneath my eyes. It's a great brush with it being but into the shape to perfectly contour your face which is another plus for it being small! When using my larger brush I noticed that the concealer sometimes rubbed off some certain areas so when using this Setting Brush, because it is much smaller I can control more and allow the concealer not to rub off!
Overall I am in love with these brushes and have used them every single day! They are super soft and really do give you a perfect pixel look. I've noticed my make up looks much more natural when applying with these brushes and I'm so glad I've tried them! Have you used these brushes?

Great review! :) I have heard about this brush before I think. I always use my hands to apply foundation, perhaps one day I will try this brush instead! It sounds good :)

I've got the stipling brush but it's sat on my windowsill currently unloved because it doesn't seem to work for me! I might give it another go after reading this though and see if I can make my foundation picture perfect ;)
