My Favourite Accessory

Olivia Accessories - Necklace*

I can honestly say this without hesitating that this necklace is my favourite necklace at the moment! I'm not an overly earring, bracelet or ring person so you would often see my wearing a statement necklace of some sort but at the moment this is my favourite by far. When I first saw it on their website I was expecting it to be really light and plastic light but once it arrived I kind of went 'ooh' as it was much heavier than I expected! It feels like a really good quality necklace and it has stayed strong despite me wearing it practically every occasion I can! For £10 you could see it as a pricey necklace from a little shop online but it is definatly worth it as you know you are getting quality for your money.

It also goes well with literally any outfit, whether you want to dress up a plain black dress/shirt or want to add it underneath a collar as more of a statement necklace. I love both looks especially the collar one as it sits perfectly underneath the collar. The colour of the necklace is a rusty gold which is beautiful and makes the necklace look expensive and rare in a way. I really love the vintage feel, if you're looking for the perfect spike necklace then this is the one for you! It is honestly worth having in your jewellery box!

Mini Haul

This video took me over 2 hours to upload and still uploaded in a rubbish quality but none the less here is my video! Just a mini haul of things I've recently brought from various sites like ASOS, Primark, Newlook, Debenhams etc...

I'm looking into becoming more of a vlogger but I want better equipment e.g lighting, microphone etc... If anybody can recommend me some stuff and where to buy from that would be amazing as I have no idea where to start looking!

Joules Duvet and Pillowcases

If you've been reading my blog this week you will have seen my post on Home Decor and how I've really got into decorating my room to make it look all pretty! When I was contacted and asked if I wanted to review anything from Joules I knew straight away that this bed set was perfect for me. It's the same colour as my room - blue and white and I am in love with the patterns they're minimal, mature and elegant, something I really want to turn my room into! Even though the bed set comes to a whopping £80 in theory you are getting two bed sets in one as it's reversible  Which is also perfect for me as I always want to change things! Also the quality of the bed sheets are amazing and really worth the money as you can tell, not that I didn't love sleeping before but now getting into bed on those cold nights are just so much better.

I think at the moment my favourite side is the floral side which also ties in well with this seasons trends! It's really simple and pretty and I love how it goes with my hanging flower lights above! What I love about Joules is that they do so many different and abstract designs that are really eye capturing. I would call Joules style alternative, I definatly need to get some more sheets from them! They range from £60+ depending if you want to get the pillow covers with them as well but they're all reversible and has some really interesting, unique patterns!

What do you think of them?

Nails Inc Review

Nails Inc
Feathers*, Hologram*, Midnight*

If you know me well you'll know that I'm a mahoosive lover of nail art. When I saw these on the Nails Inc website I practically had a fit and had to have them, when I got the opportunity to review them I was even more excited. This year is all about the nails and finally I can step up with these beauty packs. At only £20 each you get 1 nail varnish colour, top coat, 2 decoration bottles, tray and brush! They make perfect gift for nail lovers (me) and they are reasonable priced as well! They are so easy and simple, literally anybody could use them and come out with perfect results they are seriously not hard!

As I love them so much I did a tutorial on them so if you're interested in getting them but aren't sure whether you could be able to do them, check out my video and you can really see how easy it is! My favourite pack has to be either Midnight or Feathers, however the Midnight blue really stains my nails so you must make sure you wear a base coat with that one! They are super easy to get off and are just perfect to liven up an outfit!

French Connection Goodies

1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6

I am in love with some pieces from French Connection at the moment and what's even better is that they are so on trend at the moment. I wouldn't usually go for some of the stuff that's on trend at the moment but the pieces I've picked above I would feel comfortable enough to pull off! My favourite would have to be between the bomber jacket or the neon belt, last season I would be so afraid of neon and that I couldn't pull it off but I can really imagine myself wearing this little belt with a black dress or something. I thought French Connection would be ridiculously expensive but the bits I've picked are actually quite affordable!

001 - Old me would have looked at this top at thought 'too childish' but I am seriously in love with it at the moment, it's so cute! Pair this with a bright coloured pair of jeans/leggings/skirt and you're ready to go. I can imagine this with an oxblood pencil skirt and the top slightly tucked in at the front to give a bit of edge.

002 - Like I mentioned before this neon belt could brighten up any outfit, especially some of my boring black dresses just sitting in my cupboard!

003 - This bomber jacket is so versatile and so on trend at the same time, it will literally go with anything and you can really brighten it up with a funky scarf or neon top! The price I think is quite good seeing as it's French Connection and very on trend this season.

004 - I'm on the lookout for some sunglasses this summer especially as I might be going away with friends as these pair are perfect, plus I don't have a single pair like them. Also they're really affordable for a pair of good quality sunglasses.

005 - I thought this top was really cute as well, it could be worn so many ways and I can really imagine it with a white blazer which again is really on trend at the moment. Just looking at it makes me want to be on holiday right now!

006 - Again, another neon thing which I feel comfortable enough to pull off as it isn't too big. This would just go perfect with a plain dark coloured dress to really brighten up the outfit and look on trend this season. The detailing of the button and strap makes it look so cute, I definatly need this!

Hit List

So I've decided to do a female and male outfit post today as recently I've seen some male outfits in the shop displays and they make me look twice so I thought I'd have a go at putting something together! I think the male outfit would look good as a casual kind of outfit with the jacket definatly undone. I actually love the chinos/trousers, they look so comfy! I also love the Nike Blazers, the colour of them are a bit different and I feel it ties the outfit together really well.

The female outfit is based around monochrome, my favourite trend so far. I love the texture of the shirt and how it really makes the outfit look a bit more special, I'm not one to wear white but I think the jacket really suits this outfit. Again, the shoes are something I will probably end up buying, they look so practical and comfortable plus I love New Look shoes! I need the shoes and the shirt for sure!

What do you guys think?

Cardigans Galore

I’m officially back and blogging and thought I’d kick it off by blogging about some beautiful clothing from Bonmarche! It’s currently freezing in London at the moment and my cardigans are pretty much lacking in all areas. I do love to layer my clothes as I hate showing my arms therefore a dress and a cardigan is my go to outfit, when I came across Bonmarches womens buttoned cardigans I fell in love. Above are just a few of my favourites, I really love the texture and colours as they can brighten up any outfit and make them look that little bit extra glam. They are all currently on the website so if you fancy any (I know I do!) you can check them out! They’re also very reasonably priced so none of them will break the bank! May I also point out that the black and white cardigan is very on trend at the moment with monochrome and I can see this really brightening up a LBD/I need this dress in my life.

001 – This cute cream cardigan is just literally so cute! I can imagine this with any dress of mine and some frilly little socks and a pair of ankle boots. It’s just so simple and will literally go with anything so you definatly will get your moneys worth!

002 – I picked this one as I really like the pattern of it, it’s a sort of Aztec design in pastel colours, both of which I love. I do love my black dresses so I thought this cardigan could really brighten some of my outfits up without making me feel uncomfortable.

003 – This whole colour/design is really in at the moment and I specifically like it in grey, I also really like this colour with oxblood and oxblood is one of my favourites at the moment! It’s just one of those cardigans that’s not black but will go with everything.

004 – I really liked this colour as it’s not like any of my others cardigans but isn’t too eye popping! I also like the slouchyness of this cardigan, I’ve seen a few of these styles on popular bloggers and really loved how it looked so I definatly need to invest in at least one!

005 – Like I mentioned before, monochrome is really in at the moment and I love the stripe design on this cardigan it’s not too boring but doesn’t make me stand out too much. Again this cardigan will go with nearly everything!

006 – This cardigan is similar to the other blue one, and yes it does remind me of a grannies cardigan but for some reason that makes me love it even more! I like the little detailing on the collar of the cardigan, I can see this adding colour to any outfit.

Home Decor

As I'm getting older I feel like I constantly need to change my room and I've really gotten into home decor, just mini boxes, candles, flowers to make the room look beautiful. I decided to do a little post on some of my favourite bits in my room at the moment, I havn't listed them all so if you wanted to know where any of it came from just comment below and I'll reply!

Candles are something I've really gotten into especially scented ones. My next step would be to change all the furniture in my room as it's all wood coloured and I feel my room would look a lot more mature and nicer if I had white furniture. Seeing as I've just brought a computer desk in the wood colour I will have to wait a bit for that. I really do love the minimalistic look of bedrooms so if you guys have any websites for designs/bits and pieces I'd love to check them out :)

Barratts Ankle Boots

Barratts Ankle Boots*

If you don't have a pair of ankle boots in your wardrobe you are definatly missing out, especially with the weather at the moment in London they are the perfect choice of shoes. I spotted these little beauties on Barratts and was kindly gifted them to feature on my blog and I honestly mean I havn't taken them off since. They are fashionable, comfortable and go with literally every outfit. You will definatly be spotting these in my outfit posts soon.

I really love the little detailing at the back of the boots, I've had so many compliments on them as well. I'm sure they were under £40 and kept going down in the sale, they currently have these ones that are very similar that were £60 down to £40 at the moment, such good price if I'm honest! I never used to think of Barratts when I wanted a fashionable pair of boots that were reasonably priced if I'm honest but since being gifted this pair I can't stop finding ones I love on their site, especially with their amazing sale that's STILL on! If you need a new pair of boots for the spring then check out Barratts and their sale, there's literally something for everybody's taste. I'm so impressed with these boots and cannot fault them at all, apart from one diamond coming off but I did expect that to happen as I was working in a primary school and was constantly on my feet. Nothing I couldn't stick back on though!

What do you think of my new boots?
